Go to shareurfiles.com in Safari, Chrome or any mobile browser and pick your photos, videos or documents.
Open the receive page on the computer
Go to shareurfiles.com/receive in the computer's browser.
Type the code
Enter the 6-digit code shown on the phone. The files go straight from the phone to the computer over your network.
From computer to phone
It works the other way round too: drop the file on the computer, then scan the QR code with the phone's camera. The link opens in the phone's browser and the download starts.
Works across every system
Because everything happens in the browser, the brand of your devices doesn't matter: iPhone to Windows PC, Android to Mac, Mac to Android tablet. There is no need for AirDrop, Nearby Share or a USB cable.
On Android, add ShareUrFiles to your home screen from the browser menu: it then appears in the share menu of your other apps, so you can send a photo straight from the gallery.
Keep the phone awake
Phones pause web pages when the screen locks or when you switch apps. Keep ShareUrFiles open and the screen on until the transfer finishes, especially for large videos.

No. ShareUrFiles runs in the browser on both devices. You can add it to your home screen if you use it often.
Do both devices need to be on the same Wi-Fi?
No. They can be on different networks, even in different countries. On the same Wi-Fi, transfers are usually faster.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. They go directly from one device to the other, encrypted, and are never stored on a server.
